[VIDEO] David Axelrod explains just how big Trump’s impact has been on this election…

David Axelrod made some great points today on just how big Trump’s impact on this election has been so far, notwithstanding whether he wins or loses:

Axelrod said that Democrats went into the election expecting to add a dozen seats in the US House. But instead, he notes they LOST seats. We don’t yet know how many.

To this point, I’d like to note that this is what Fox News predicted on election night:

Baier just deleted that tweet today, which is why I’m using a screenshot. But this is what Fox News’ decision desk predicted and by all accounts, including Axelrod’s, this is very wrong.

Axelrod then argued that Democrats were hoping to take win the Senate, saying “that is not going to happen.”

Lastly, Axelrod notes that Democrats were hoping to take over a half a dozen different legislatures around the country, which he says were in their sights, and they won NONE of them.

Axelrod says Trump brought people out in ways that weren’t expected and thus he had a real impact on the election. I laugh at this statement in part, because only a consumer of the MSM would say this wasn’t expected. In fact I had much higher expectations. But I won’t rag on Axelrod too much. It’s nice to hear him concede this even though he probably hates it.
