Video footage shows state trooper remaining calm while being shot at during car chase in Oklahoma

A state trooper in Oklahoma was literally dodging bullets during a car chase earlier this month but he never even remotely freaked out or panicked.

Instead, he just continued chasing the suspect vehicle until he finally got them.

Watch:

From the original tweet by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, they write “This is dash cam and body cam from the pursuit that ended on the Turner Turnpike on April 2. The suspect, Charles Carswell, led Trooper Brack Miller #950 on a pursuit and shot through his back windshield at Trooper Miller several times during the pursuit.”

They continue “Trp Miller was able to bring the pursuit to an end with a TVI. Trooper Miller only suffered minor injuries.
This portion of the event depicts initial shots fired at troopers. There was return fire by troopers. As with any use of force, that portion is still under investigation.”

TVI stands for a “tactical vehicle interruption.”

I think this video not only demonstrates how these brave officers put their lives on the line for us when it comes to armed and dangerous suspects, but those TVI maneuvers also look very dangerous. As you can clearly see in the video, the officer ends up swerving to the right after a failed attempted but manages to keep his police car in the chase.
