Earlier this morning two of the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School were ripping on politicians who take money from the NRA, with one of them even calling the NRA “child murderers”:

Democrats must be loving this.
I get that there is turmoil and grief over what happened and people are still trying to figure out how to cope with this, but seriously? The NRA doesn’t deserve to be dragged through the mud like this. It’s not their fault – not even close.
There were multiple failures within law enforcement to stop this kid from committing this massacre. Heck, the NY Times just reported this:

To be fair, it’s not the easiest thing to predict someone is going to be a mass murderer. Really, the FBI had the best chance of stopping this and as we all know, they failed to follow up on a huge tip.
My point is there is some blame to go around, but blaming the NRA is just absurd. I mean heck if you’re going to do that, you might as well blame the founders too because they put the 2nd amendment in the Constitution.
