Trump has made a point several times today to highlight the fact that Ilhan Omar praised Al Qaeda and she was actually asked about it in The Squad’s press conference today at 5pm:

She wouldn’t and she didn’t. She refused to condemn al Qaeda.

Here answer was much longer than that and she tried to hide behind the notion that Trump was trying to make Muslims answer for Muslim terrorism. But that’s not it at all.

So for her to hide it behind this false generalization that Trump is trying to make Muslims answer for terrorism is just proof, in my opinion, that she doesn’t want to have to answer for it because she knows she can’t, at least honestly. Her comments are on record for everyone to see.
