[VIDEO] Ron DeSantis destroys CNN reporter for trying to blame him for vaccine lines!

Governor Ron DeSantis gave a CNN reporter hell this morning for trying to blame him for people waiting in long lines to get vaccines:

“What’s gone wrong with the rollout of the vaccine” is how this reporter began her question, and clearly DeSantis wasn’t happy with how she characterized it. He started to answer her question, noting they’ve had a lot of demand in the state for the vaccine.

But this CNN reporter demanded that she be able to finish her ‘question’. After DeSantis finally let her finish, she asked about “senior citizens waiting overnight” in several counties for the vaccine.

DeSantis asked her is she investigated why this happened, and she claimed she was asking him why. DeSantis rode her a little for not bothering to investigate, and then explained that these hospitals had announced that they had the vaccine and that it was first come first serve to get it. DeSantis noted these hospitals didn’t use a registration system and there’s simply a lot of demand for getting the vaccine. That’s why there were long vaccine lines.

The CNN reporter then tried to blame the governor for not having a plan to ensure senior citizens didn’t wait outside overnight to get the vaccine. But DeSantis hit back hard, saying “the state is not dictating to hospitals” how to run their operations. He said “that would be a total disaster,” noting that hospitals “are much more competent to be able deliver health care services than a state government could ever be.”

If this reporter had bothered to investigate, she’d have realized that the state isn’t to blame, but rather it’s how the hospitals have decided to dole out the vaccine, first come first serve. And don’t tell me it’s hard for her to get this information when apparently tons of senior citizens had gotten it, evidenced by the fact that they were standing in long lines!

No, instead of investigating this, she has to turn it into a phony attack on the governor for her big CNN segment. Jim Acosta has trained her well.
