VIDEO: Ted Cruz just summed up his immigration views in four words

Ted Cruz has been out on the campaign trail this week, taking his race seriously just as he said he would.

Yesterday while giving a speech, Cruz summed up his immigration views in so simple a way that even liberals can understand.

Here’s more from KRIS TV:

Senator Ted Cruz brought his statewide campaign tour to Corpus Christi Saturday to speak with voters. It comes during one of the most talked-about campaigns this election season in his race against Congressman Beto O’Rourke.

Cruz spoke on a number of issues, including immigration.

“You know, I have many times summed up my views on immigration in four words: Legal, good. Illegal, bad,” Cruz told the crowd.

Immigration reform was just one of the hot topics the senator discussed during his
Corpus Christi stop.

“This election is about jobs, it’s about securing the border, and it’s about protecting our constitutional rights,” Cruz said.

Other topics discussed by Cruz included veteran issues, planned parenthood and voter ID.

“I will continue fighting and pressing until we have full and complete veterans choice, putting you, the veteran, in charge of your doctor and your healthcare,” Cruz said.

Cruz says he feels that his campaign against O’Rourke, an El Paso native, is one for the books.

“In the Senate race, there is no political race in the country with a starker divide between the two candidates,” Cruz said. “My opponent, Congressman Beto O’Rourke, is not doing what Democrats usually do in the general election. He’s not pretending to go to the middle, he’s not pretending to be moderate.”

They say predictions are the ract will be close. I really don’t expect it to be that close, but I guess we’ll see.
