[VIDEO] Ted Cruz says imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine is Biden’s fault and explains WHY – (It’s not what you think)

Ted Cruz was on with Fox News today explaining why the now imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine has everything to do with Joe Biden capitulating to Russia:

Cruz obviously points to Biden’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan as paving the way for this, in part.

But even more so Cruz says it has to do with Biden capitulating to Putin on Russia’s Nord Stream Pipeline:

“Now why does Nord Stream 2 matter? Nord Stream 2 is the pipeline that Russia is building to go directly from Russia into Germany. They’re doing it because they want to bypass Ukraine. In 2014 Putin invaded Crimea but didn’t continue to invade the rest of the country – didn’t go all the way to Kiev. Why? Because right now the Russian natural gas goes through Ukraine, through Ukrainian energy infrastructure to get to you Europe. But if they had invaded Ukraine, the Ukrainians could have destroyed that pipeline and cut off their ability to get to market. Nord Stream 2 is all about enabling Russia to cut Ukraine out of the transit loop in order for them to drive the tanks into downtown Kiev.”

It took me a couple of times to make sense out of that, but essentially Cruz is saying that before Nord Stream 2, Ukraine had power over Russia because all of Russia’s natural gas came from Ukraine and thus Russia could not invade because Ukraine could have destroyed it. Now that Nord Stream 2 is being completed, the natural gas issue no longer matters because Russia isn’t dependent on them any longer. Thus Russia can now invade Ukraine without such grave consequences.

Thus, Biden capitulating to Russia and allowing Putin to finish building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, despite congressional sanctions, pretty much guaranteed a future invasion of Ukraine. And here we are.
