A woman at her California tax and insurance business fought off a thief who stole a thousand dollars right off her desk:
This is exactly why people need to protect themselves with guns. Fighting a man with a knife was incredibly dangerous and could have easily left her seriously injured or dead. It may have been courageous but it wasn’t smart. How she escaped without him stabbing her I don’t know.
I also don’t know why she’s running a ‘cash’ business without a firearm to protect her and the business. I realize she’s in California and they make it very difficult to own a gun, but unless this business is brand new she should have protection there.
I do hope that now they learn their lesson and get a firearm because they will be a target for people who see this on the news. She said no one would be alone in the business from now on, which is good. But if someone comes in with a gun to rob them, it may not help that much.
