This is just another story that makes me wonder what country I live in. This Vietnam vet sought to display the flag outside of his apartment on Memorial day and Independence day. And in all cases we’re not talking about big huge flags that are an eyesore. The flags they showed in the video were little flags that he put in the ground and in his windows. Instead of being sent a letter, the flags outside were collected and put on his doorstep. The vet put them back up and then he received an eviction letter:

I realize he lives in an apartment, that he doesn’t own the property, but can you be any more anal than these people who run this place? The flags he wanted to put in his windows we’re small miniature flags. It wasn’t like he was putting up a flag curtain or something. I know that they have rules and he agreed to the rules. But not even making an allowance on the 4th of July and Memorial day? These people seem heartless to me.
