Virginia has become a political dumpster fire in the last week with Governor Northam’s blackface/kkk photo being outed for everyone to see. He still hasn’t resigned.
Then we had sexual assault allegations against the Lt. Governor and that seems to be only getting worse for him, as the woman has now revealed her name and Lt. Governor Fairfax seems to be making ridiculous excuses.
And now the Democratic AG of Virginia, Mark Herring, has admitted to wearing blackface when he was in college in the 80s too:
BLOOMBERG – Another top Virginia Democrat has admitted to wearing blackface decades ago. Attorney General Mark Herring issued a statement Wednesday saying he wore brown makeup and a wig in 1980 to look like a black rapper during a party as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia.
The revelation further roils the top levels of Virginia government. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam and Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax are already facing controversies, and Herring would be next in line to be governor after those two men.
Many including Herring have urged Northam to resign after the discovery of a photo of someone in blackface on his 1984 medical school yearbook page. Fairfax, next in line to be governor, has been accused of sexual misconduct, which he denies.

NEWS: AG Mark Herring had a private meeting this morning with the legislative black caucus, Del. Lamont Bagby confirms.
Asked if Herring discussed a photo of his own, Bagby said “He’ll talk about it.”
Before he could say more, the House min ldr pulled him into a private room.
