Glenn Kessler, the fact checker for the Washington Post, gave Beto O’Rourke four pinocchios after last week’s debate and he explains why:
Kessler’s article only covers this one lie by Beto, where he said he didn’t try to leave the scene of his drunk driving accident.
After explaining what we all know, that a witness saw Beto try to leave and it was documented on the police report, Kessler says something that I found more interesting.
He says that before he posted the article, he contacted Beto’s campaign numerous times and got no response from them. He said when this happens, it typically means the candidate knows they are in trouble.
