The internet is going as nuts over one word in the NY Times op-ed as reportedly Trump has gone nuts in the White House over the whole thing.
It’s “lodestar.”
Anonymous senior official in NYT piece:

1-Russia hawk
2-Traditional Republican
3-Respects McCain
4-Not Middle East buff
5-Writes well
6-Senior to take risk
7-Not a longtime bureaucrat
8-Someone who uses lodestar to perhaps throw people off
9-Connected within admin
10-Likely in WH
Now we just have to figure out which senior admin official has used the term "lodestar" before.

Or maybe….
If "lodestar" is the big clue, and given that Pence has used the word routinely in speeches, I would propose the key suspect is Pence's *speechwriter.*

Or…
It’s totally Melania if we can find any op-eds Michelle Obama wrote where she uses the word ‘lodestar’

Uh…
I don't believe Pence wrote the NY Times op-ed, but I DEFINITELY believe whoever wrote it dropped the term "lodestar" in there to make people THINK he wrote it, and that's fucking hilarious.

Oh OK. Forget it then.
