Was Joe Biden wearing a wire during last night’s debate?

There’s a video going around from last night’s debate showing ‘proof’ that Joe Biden is wearing a wire:

Even James Woods posted the same video:

The problem is that it’s not really a wire, it’s a crease in his shirt. The low quality video from the man who recorded doesn’t show it very well. I found the moment in the actual video and you can see for yourself:

Go ahead and make it full screen and you’ll see it’s just a crease in his shirt as he pulls his hand out.

Here’s a larger photo of the crease:

The man who recorded the video above, alleging this to be a wire, actually says “why do you need a wire bro? You got a mic.” That’s a great question. Why would he need a wire? A ‘wire’ is typically used to record someone surreptitiously, or it could represent a hidden microphone – neither of which would be useful in a debate. What most were concerned about was Biden using a hidden receiver where someone could talk to him without anyone hearing it, but that would need to be in his ear. My point is that this doesn’t logically follow.

Now there is another item that people are speculating about and it’s something sticking out of his cuff:

At first glance I didn’t know what this was, but someone found a photo of Biden’s arm and he’s wearing a rosary around his wrist in honor of his late son:

If you look back at the first picture, you can see the rosary around his wrist in that photo as well.
