WATCH: Analyst on MSNBC dares to suggest yesterday was Trump’s best day as president and will help him in 2020

Richard Haass, an analyst on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, dared this morning to suggest that yesterday was Trump’s best day as president and it will be good for him in the election:

Haass explained his position by saying that yesterday the stock market went up dramatically, showing the economy is in decent shape. Now he says ‘decent’, but he really means ‘great’. He has to temper his words because MSNBC is a safe space for Trump hatred.

He also explains that Trump was finalizing a trade deal with China, a government shutdown was being avoided, and Boris Johnson’s won big in the UK. He says all of this will equal a formula that Trump can use to make the case for himself in 2020 while he hammers his Democratic opponent for the excesses of their policies. He adds that yesterday was the kind of day that shows Trump shouldn’t be discounted or counted out.

My favorite part of this video comes at the very end, when Haass says somewhat emphatically “This is not advocacy; this is just analysis.” LOL! Of course he has to say that on MSNBC. He can’t be seen advocating for Trump on a network that’s doing it’s damndest to make sure Trump doesn’t win another election. They’d maul him on the ‘bus ride’ home just like that kid in Florida if they thought he was a Trump advocate…
