Apparently Vice President JD Vance recommended Theo Von’s podcast at Turning Point USA this week and Ben Shapiro has a big problem with that, referring to Von as a ‘Bernie Sanders leftist’ who ‘doesn’t like the censorious impulses of the left’.
Shapiro thinks that, while this may be a political calculation aimed at election in 2028,’ that he doesn’t think it will work for him and that it is certainly not moral.
Watch below:
I’ve been hearing rumblings for many months about how Vance isn’t speaking out enough against the anti-semitic right, as it were, and have always assumed it was a political calculation myself. But Shapiro makes a good point about how assuming another man’s coalition hasn’t worked for other candidates in the past. In a nutshell, Shapiro is saying that if you don’t have ‘it,’ which appeals to the masses, then all the ‘king’s horses and and all the king’s men’ won’t be enough to win the election for ya.
