In a new video from today Beto O’Rourke is seen telling people that America was founded on White Supremacy. Not kidding:

At this point I honestly don’t know if Beto really believes this garbage or if he’s just pandering to a very anti-American portion of the Democratic Party in order to get elected. It could honestly go either way.
But the truth is that while slavery was unfortunately still going on at the founding of this great nation, America was founded on the principles of freedom and liberty, not White Supremacy. And we proved it less than a century later by fighting a civil war that cost many men their lives, in order that we might end the scourge of slavery that plagued the South and reunite a country divided.
So for Beto to trot out this anti-American rubbish, it should completely disqualify him and he should be laughed off the stage.
Speaking of stages, what are the chances that the CNN debate moderators ask him about this in the upcoming debate in three weeks?
