Joe Biden literally had to beg the Coast Guard to clap during his commencement speech he gave today at the Coast Guard Academy:
After giving what he thought was an applause line, Biden told the graduates: “You are — you are a really dull class. I mean, come on, man, is the sun getting to you? I would think you would have an opportunity when I say that about the Navy to clap.”
Finally one person started to clap and then the rest followed suit. How embarrassing.
