Joe Biden told reporters today that he can do nothing about high gas prices right now and put the full blame on Russia:
This was so predictable. Biden is using this invasion of Ukraine to cast all the blame on Russia for high gas prices, when his own policies had pushed them up before any of this began.
And the media is going right along with it. They will all blame Russia and will suddenly forget that before Russia invaded Ukraine, gas prices had already skyrocketed to $3.50 on average because of Biden’s war on oil and gas.
Just today Biden’s economic advisor said that in order to be completely energy independent, the US has to get away from fossil fuels:
In other words they want gas prices skyrocket in order to shift Americans away from fossil fuels. But it has become politically toxic for them, so now they shift the blame to Russia to cover for themselves.
