Elizabeth Warren apparently has a fascination with Ocomio-Cortez, copying her at the turn of the year with a mega-fail live stream from her kitchen while she gulped down a beer.
Well now she’s copying her again with another mega-fail, this time getting basic high school civics wrong in an interview on CNN.
Watch (it’s cued up to 3:22):
Did you catch it? I’m sure you did, because it’s almost like hearing 57 states all over again.
Remember when Ocasio-Cortez said she wanted to take back all three chambers of government? LOL.
In this clip Warren claimed there are TWO co-equal branches of government, the President of the United States and the Congress.
Um….
Perhaps Warren was smoking a peace pipe in her high school civics 101 class, but there are THREE co-equal branches of government: The Executive, the Legislative, and the Judicial.
I’m kinda stunned that Cooper didn’t bother to correct her. Ok not really, but surely he had to notice it. How could he not?
If Trump had made this error, the host would have stopped the interview right there on the spot to correct him, and then Trump would have been mocked as an idiot for getting it wrong for the next 48 hours of media.
But just like when Obama said there were 57 states, the media takes a big yawn and ignores it.
And like Obama, the media will probably claim she’s a genius or something.
