This morning on the Today Show Bill Clinton was being interviewed about his new novel when he was asked about the current #MeToo movement and then about the Monica Lewinsky scandal. As Morning Mika points out, things got heated.

Clinton got very defensive when he was asked if he ever apologized to Lewinsky, accusing Craig Melvin of only presenting one side of the story at one point. He was not happy at all that he was being asked about this.
When asked to view what happened 20 years ago through the lens of the current #MeToo movement, he told Melvin that he didn’t get away unscathed, that it left him 16 million dollars in debt or something. Boohoo.
At the end of the interview clip, Morning Mika says this:
So I just saw the interview that I’ve always wanted to see with Bill Clinton. That’s the interview I think we’ve been waiting decades for. This was an abuse of power, and that his wife running for president and not facing what happened. And the continued abuse that happened, under him. And the example he set for America’s children about what ‘is’ is.
