This is terrific. A black member of the task force who put together Florida’s curriculum group categorically debunked the lies being pushed by Kamala Harris and all her hack supporters.
Here’s what he said:
Yesterday, @abcnews aired a very small section of their interview with a member of Florida’s African American History Standards Workgroup, Dr. William B. Allen.
Here’s more of the interview, where Dr. Allen debunks @VP’s narrative and calls her criticism “categorically false.”🧵 pic.twitter.com/hPFbKNZPs1

Asked if he believes the course should be amended:
“No, I think it would be effectively to erase people’s history.”Dr. Allen then gives an anecdote of his own great grandfather who, unlike @VP’s great grandfather, was a slave. pic.twitter.com/sjh5FqJgjV

When you listen to Dr. Allen, you know you are listening to someone who actually cares about this topic and not someone who is lying about it and trying to exploit it for political gain.
Everyone should listen to what he said and his perspective on it. It’s a story of courage and resiliency that celebrates the African American spirit. Unlike what Kamala Harris said, who would just as soon erase it just to try and hurt DeSantis.
