WATCH: Brit Hume scorches the media over their obsessive Russia-gate coverage

Brit Hume said last night that the media’s coverage of Russia-gate was the worst journalistic fiasco of his entire 50-year career.

Watch:

Before Trump came along I think Bush 43 was considered the worst victim of media bias in a long time. But the media has been so much worse in the case of Trump with their obsessive, even hopeful coverage of all things anti-Trump. There is rarely, if any, honest and objective reporting on Trump coming out of the MSM these days. They hate him and it’s beyond clear to anyone with eyes to see.

Hume noted the comment from the New York Times Executive Editor Dan Baquet on how they built their newsroom to cover Russia-gate and how that was such a journalistic misjudgement. But as he also points out, they never seem to learn. In the very article where they admitted this and how Mueller had failed to take out Trump, which was such a disappointment for their readers, Baquet explained that their vision for the next two years was to cover how divisive Trump is:

“I mean, the vision for coverage for the next two years is what I talked about earlier: How do we cover a guy who makes these kinds of remarks?” Baquet said. “How do we cover the world’s reaction to him? How do we do that while continuing to cover his policies? How do we cover America, that’s become so divided by Donald Trump?”

Indeed they never learn because they don’t want to learn. They don’t care that they got it so wrong. They don’t care about the truth. This media has one mission and that is simply to make America hate Trump so much that they’ll kick him out of office.
