Bruce ‘Caitlyn’ Jenner fooled everyone a few weeks ago when he said that biological males shouldn’t be able to compete in female sports because it’s an issue of fairness.
But on Fox News today Jenner changed his answer and suggested that if a biological male transitions at a young enough age and grows up as a girl, then ‘of course’ they should be able to compete in female sports:
So Jenner was apparently just referring to biological males who transition around the time of their adolescence, that they shouldn’t be able to compete in female sports in grade school.
There’s two major problems with this, which Matt Walsh sums up in his tweet about this:
So not only is Jenner endorsing “treatment” for young children, but also males in women’s sports.

Jenner clearly believes that young children should be able to change genders, which is very destructive and nothing but child abuse. These little kids don’t really know anything about who they are at that age, except what they hear from their parents. Hell I didn’t truly understand myself until I was nearly in my 30s. To do the kind of damage to a kid with hormones and surgeries, when they have no clue what they are truly doing to themselves, could ruin them for the rest of their lives and lead many to commit suicide.
Secondly, just because a biological male has been on hormone therapy for 5-10 years doesn’t mean their whole body structure has been transformed into female and therefore they should be able to compete in female sports. That’s absurd. They still have a male body with all the strength that comes with and it would be completely unfair for them to compete against women.
Walsh is exactly right. Every conservative who backed Jenner should be embarrassed. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to know that was a bad idea in the first place.
