Pete Buttigieg continues to misconstrue the holy scriptures for his own agenda. Tonight, on the debate stage, he attacked Conservative Christian senators for opposing a minimum wage hike. He then quoted scripture, accusing them of ‘oppressing the poor’:

What ridiculous nonsense. Refusing to raise the minimum wage isn’t oppressing the poor. But raising it surely would be bad for the poor, as it would kill jobs and make products more expensive.
But this isn’t even what the Bible is talking about. True oppression of the poor is like what happens in countries like Pakistan, where Muslim brickmakers loan a Christian family money and then force them to work like slaves to pay it back, continually increasing the time it takes for repayment, forcing the family to live in poverty.
Every time Buttigieg opens his mouth about Christianity, he continually exposes just how unChristian he really is, twisting it to suit his own agenda and desires.
Just like he’s done with homosexuality, completely ignoring what the Bible says about it. I think we all know who is ‘taunting’ their Maker.
