Last night mayhem broke out near the end of the game when a Cleveland Browns player, Myles Garrett, ripped off the helmet of the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mason Rudolph, whom he’d just sacked, and then swung it at him hitting him in the head.
Watch:
Or on Twitter:
Myles Garrett just hit Mason Rudolph in the head with Rudolph’s helmet. Yikes. He has to be suspended multiple games for this. That’s wild. Never seen it before. https://t.co/BWPKxUAKOc

The announcer, Joe Buck, says that Garrett hit Rudolph in the head with the helmet. If that’s true then we have assault.
Either way, both Buck and Aikman seemed to agreed in that moment that Garrett would be ejected and suspended.
After the game Brown’s QB Baker Mayfield condemned Garrett’s actions as hurting the team:

The least the NFL should do is suspend Garrett for the rest of the year. But honestly they shouldn’t just suspend Garrett, they should kick him out of the game forever. And he should probably be arrested for his actions as well.
Sooper-Update!!
