It’s CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin — that’s CNN’s Jeffrey Toobin, of CNN, the cable news network where Jeffrey Toobin said this… you know, CNN … did I mention this is on CNN? — absolutely destroying Dems final bitter hopes that somehow an indictment is going to come out of the Mueller report of the investigation of Russia overall. It’s magnificently beautiful.
My favorite part is how it starts out like it’s just about the indictments, but he dashes in advance the objection like “oh it’s just the Mueller report, it’s not everything” because, y’all, it’s everything. This was the big banana and it’s peeled.

The investigation has been going on for two years, he says, and everyone has been talking about it and focusing on it and he’s had “enormous resources.”
“The fact that he hasn’t indicted Donald Trump Jr., and hasn’t indicted Jared Kushner, I mean that’s good news for them!”
“This has been the main investigation, and you know a lot of attention has gone to it, and a lot of very critical commentary has been about, you know, these people around Donald Trump, and the fact that they are not indicted, and are not going to be indicted by Robert Mueller or his grand jury is unambiguously good news for them.”
Amazing. He says it doesn’t mean Trump is “in the clear,” and let’s face it, he’ll never be in the clear as long as any Democrat has two nickels to spend on an investigation. But he also said “this swirl of suspicion” around the report is “not really justified.”
Oh y’all I forgot. You should know that this was ON CNN. I just wanna make sure you heard that part. That’s what the logo there is in the corner. It’s the CNN logo. Because this was on CNN where he said this.
