This is amazing.
A Colorado parent got silenced by her local school board after reading from a book which is available to students during the board of education meeting.
The book she read from is called ‘Gender Queer’:

You’d think that if it’s available for our children to read then it would be appropriate for a school board meeting, right?
But the board was quick to shut this mom down after reading a vulgar and lewd section from the book that is clearly NOT what school children should be reading.
I think she made her point quite well. If a book ain’t good enough for a school board meeting, it ain’t good enough for our kids.
