Dan Crenshaw ripped both Time Magazine and The Hill over dishonest suggestions yesterday that Trump was sending migrant kids to a concentration camp (starts at 3:09 but you should watch the whole interview):
Here’s the tweets that Crenshaw refers to above:
Trump administration to hold migrant children at base that served as WWII Japanese internment camp https://t.co/5nu8DjtSYy

JUST IN: Trump administration to send migrant children to former Japanese internment camp: report https://t.co/UsdSmYuKoe pic.twitter.com/6cWPuj9mNg

And here’s the ridiculous hyperbolic tweet by Democrat Rep. Judy Chu:
1/2) During WWII, Fort Sill was used as a prison for innocent Japanese Americans. 70 years later, Trump is using it to imprison immigrant children. This is outrageous and cruel. https://t.co/6cpxY2ugZm #NoKidsInCages

As Crenshaw points out, the administration is looking for humane places to house migrants because they are so overwhelmed at the border. That’s all this is. Crenshaw says the administration even invited the media to come look at the place.
This is just another example of the media trying to make a non-story into a story that upsets people and gets clicks. It’s pathetic fake news.
