Governor Ron DeSantis has responded to a state court in Tallahassee blocking Florida’s law banning abortions after 15 weeks.
This is what he had to say:
MOMENTS AGO: #Florida Gov. #DeSantis on #abortion law ruled unconstitutional: “That's something that was decided under state law that was not unanticipated. It was not of course something we were happy to see.” https://t.co/Eg57JlpQ3A pic.twitter.com/ArKhZN4hRd

In short DeSantis said this wasn’t unanticipated, but that they will appeal this ruling soon.
DeSantis says: “These are unborn babies that have a heartbeat, they can feel pain, they can suck their thumbs. And to say that the state constitution mandates that things like dismemberment abortions, I just don’t think that’s the proper interpretation. We’ll appeal.”
He also responded to the high court allowing Biden to get rid of Trump’s Remain in Mexico policy:

DeSantis concedes that this was probably the right thing to do constitutionally, but notes that the high court treated Trump very differently than they are treating Biden and he doesn’t like that.
He also notes that once Remain in Mexico is gone, it’s going to make the disaster at the border even worse.
