WATCH: DeSantis smacks down reporter who asked what he’s doing about violence against Muslims since he talks about protecting Jews

Governor Ron DeSantis was asked today what he’s doing about violence against Muslims and Muslim schools since he’s been talking about protecting Jewish schools:

“You’ve talked a lot about protecting Jewish schools… what about the increase in violence to Muslims and Muslim schools?”

He answered by strongly disagreeing with the premise of the question, saying it’s a false equivalency to say Muslims are under attack like Jews have been:

“That is not true. They are not experiencing the similar threats. I don’t see how you can look at what’s going on…Are those students being chased for their lives in some of these universities around the country?”
