Dr. Fauci, who has been there from the very beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, told Fox News today that he doesn’t remember any time where Trump said something different or distorted anything publicly that they discussed in their meetings:
QUESTION: Did you get any sense that President Trump was downplaying the coronavirus.
"No, no, I didn’t. I didn’t get any sense that he was distorting anything." – Dr. Anthony Fauci pic.twitter.com/tkky8f7RWz

The media has had a love affair with Fauci, but I guarantee his word won’t mean squat right now because he’s defending Trump.
Not only this, but near the end of March when Levin interviewed Fauci, he said the administration’s response to the pandemic was impressive:
Regardless of whatever was said in this interview or that, at the end of the day we all know what the Trump administration DID to deal with an unprecedented pandemic in modern times and it really is an achievement Trump can tout.
All of this is simply an attempt to disparage Trump because Democrats are desperate to change the narrative away from the anti-cop violence that appears to be helping Trump. They are in panic mode really, and this is just a rerun of what they’ve been trying to do since he became president. And I really don’t think it will work. Only leftist nuts who already hate Trump will be fixated on this garbage.
