The soloist’s name was Nicole Raviv and as beautiful as her rendition was, I was so happy she pulled the mic away to pay homage to the crowd for joining in. It was a wonderful move on her part and the whole thing has my eyes tearing up a bit.
What a difference this is instead of the hateful kneeling protests we’ve been observing for the last five years. It’s really so moving to hear a sports crowd truly love our country this way and I wanted to share it with you.
By the way, the New York Islanders won 6-2 over the Boston Bruins.
