“People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction…”, she says breathlessly. I think Thunberg must have been hanging out with AOC, because this sounds as ridiculous as she does normally.
I’d ask what people are dying and what ecosystems are collapsing, but I have a feeling Greta probably couldn’t tell me.
To be honest, I really don’t want to speak ill of Greta because she’s just a kid being manipulated by adults into championing this nonsense. One day she’ll grow up and maybe then she’ll have more capacity to see through this nonsense, especially when she realizes all that she’s saying hasn’t come to pass.
