Well it looks like they are throwing the book at Caesar Sayoc charging him with 5 counts, including threatening two former presidents of the United States and interstate transportation of explosives:

Here are the five charges:
-interstate transportation of an explosive
-illegal mailing of an explosive
-threats against former presidents
-threatening interstate communications
-assaulting current, former federal officers
And just so you know, FBI Director Wray says these are not hoax devices:

He also explains that Sayoc left a latent fingerprint and some DNA on the envelopes:

I’d like to see him get every one of those 58 years and I suspect they’ll be pushing for just that. Glad they got him as quick as they did.
