Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell told CBS News that America is on an “unsustainable fiscal path” and that it worries him greatly.
With so much spending he says the national debt is growing faster than the economy and that his concern is “long term” because we are “borrowing from future generations”.

This is news to none of us here who have been warning about the unsustainable fiscal path for well over a decade. And nothing ever gets done about it. Bankrupted future generations, assuming there will be any*, will look back on us with contempt for our selfish ways and gluttonous overspending.
*Assuming Jesus doesn’t come back before they are bankrupted
