Fox News reporter Peter Doocy cornered Jen Psaki again today on her ridiculous argument that Republicans supported defunding police because they didn’t vote on the massive COVID Democrat spendapalooza bill earlier this year.

Doocy seems very good at this, asking Psaki to name any Republican that ever made claims supporting the defunding of police. She refuses to give specifics (because there are NONE), claiming that their refusal to support the COVID bill was all the evidence that she needed because ‘actions speak louder than words’ or something.
Doocy adeptly jumps on that point and actually quotes what both McConnell and McCarthy said in their refusal to support the COVID bill, pointing out that it had nothing to do with defunding local law enforcement and everything to do with the bill funding a big Democrat agenda in the name of COVID. He also pointed out that all four members of the Squad have publicly called for defunding the police.
Psaki is still unable to name any Republican who has called for the defunding of police and hides behind her terrible spin that their vote against the bill means they wanted to defund police. It’s despicably dishonest and not remotely compelling, but I guess that comes with the territory of being a Biden Democrat.
