WATCH: Gov DeSantis defends Chinese protesters AND torches Apple for being a vassal of CCP while threatening to ban Twitter

Governor Ron DeSantis defended the Chinese protesters today in a press conference in Florida while hammering Apple for being a vassal of the CCP while threatening to ban Twitter from their app store.

First up, DeSantis defended the protesters in China and accused the CCP of using their draconian and unscientific ‘Zero COVID’ policy to do whatever they want, which is a gross violation of the rights of the Chinese people.

I love that he uses the terms ‘maniacal impulse’ to describe what the CCP is doing while standing with the Chinese protesters. This is true leadership.

After DeSantis torched the CCP, he turned his sights on Apple for being a vassal of the CCP while threatening to ban Twitter from the app store over Elon Musk turning Twitter back into a place of free speech:

DeSantis said that Musk is restoring many accounts that were “unfairly and illegitimately suspended for putting out accurate information about COVID,” to which Apple responds with threats to nuke Twitter from the app store.

He then dropped this bomb: “I think that would be a huge, huge mistake and it would be a really raw exercise of monopolistic power that I think would merit a response from the United States Congress.”

DeSantis ended with this warning to Apple: “Don’t be a vassal of the CCP on one hand, and then use your corporate power in the United States on the other to suffocate Americans and try to suppress their right to express themselves.”

UPDATE: DeSantis also pushed back on a dishonest journalist using the phony ‘don’t say gay’ narrative:
