It’s amazing how many people have egg on their faces after the Covington Catholic School MAGA teens vs Native Americans vs Black Hebrew Israeli maniacs controversy from this weekend. Wow, that’s a mouthful.
In any event, Greg Gutfeld is also issuing his own mea culpa for doing what so many did this weekend in jumping the gun and condemning the Catholic teens.

What’s hilarious about this, besides “you can’t spell hate without ‘hat'”, is that Gutfeld saw the video on Saturday and thought he’d do the seemingly reasonable condemn his own side tweets. And then he got burned! That should be the lesson to all, never condemn your own side!
No wait…um…that’s not the lesson.
Seriously though, he realized he hadn’t taken his own advice, which is to be skeptical and wait for all the facts, and promised to take his own advice in the future.
He is right though that the media, who ran whole hog with this story, saw their favorite enemy: the MAGA hat. The left hates Trump and is convinced he’s a big old KKK White Supremacist or something:

I’ve never owned a MAGA hat because I’m not that kind of Trump fan. But honestly after all of this ridiculousness, I’m tempted go buy one and wear it just for the heck of it, to see what happens. Maybe I should get my conceal carry permit beforehand just in case though. Yeah, it feels like it’s getting that bad.
