Kamala Harris, who even the BIDEN administration has found it necessary to hide from reporters, must have a special place in her heart for disasters because she is one. When people say about a politician that they are “unserious” they usually mean the person doesn’t think things through, have smart takes or smart policies, and is more concerned with image or “optics” than reality.
While those things are certainly true of vice president short straw, she’s also unserious in the other way. She is always inappropriately laughing at things that aren’t funny. Seriously, its way more than a compulsion or compensation for nervousness. It’s like some kind of disorder.
Or maybe it’s just that she actually thinks death and destruction are hilarious.
How creepy is it that after her initial outburst she continues to have trouble keeping a straight face through the whole clip?
Whether laughing from intent, disorder, or a sickness of soul and empathy, the end result is the same. She’s a clown.
