There’s a video that’s gone viral of Trump yesterday while he’s playing golf with his son at Bedminster. Someone secretly recorded him talking about Biden (against the rules), in which Trump called Biden an ‘old broken down piece of crap’ and said ‘he’s quitting the race’.
Here’s the video:

"I got him out” he’s an “old broken-down pile of crap… Now we have Kamala. She’s so f—king bad”

The only thing I would say about this is that Trump needs to realize people are going to surreptitiously record him when he’s in a public setting and he needs to be more careful about what he says. I don’t think he really said anything all that objectionable, but then I’m on the right. But I worry that by saying derogatory things about Biden like he did in this video, he could cause people to have more sympathy for Biden and that’s the last thing he wants to do.
Other than that, the video doesn’t bother me. Trump posted the video himself on Truth Social and said “no tax on tips”.
In regards to what he said about Biden getting out of the race, I think it’s still an open question whether Biden can convince Democrats to keep him in the race. As Nate Silver said…
I'm stating the obvious, but the fundamental problem for Dems is that the sort of actions that a campaign would need to reassure both regular voters and "party elites" don't seem to be actions that Joe Biden is capable of.
