Joe Biden had a bizarre answer yesterday when he was asked by reporters why Netanyahu needs a “come to Jesus moment”. Biden was caught saying this on a hot mic after the State of the Union.
Here’s how his exchange with the reporter went:
Q: “Why does Mr. Netanyahu need a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting?”
BIDEN (confused): “I didn’t say that in the speech.”
Q: “What about after?”

One of Ted Cruz’s national security advisors responded to the video saying: “This is just bad staff work. No one prepped him with a talker. No doubt it’s understandable bad staff work. Dems believe – correctly – that journos will contain gaffes for them so there’s no reason to bear down. They get to do comms on easy mode. But it’s still bad staff work.”
