I don’t watch Joe Rogan’s podcast so I don’t keep up with his positions on anything, and that includes the war in Gaza. But there’s a clip going around this morning from Rogan’s podcast last week with Coleman Hughes and it is very interesting.
The video starts with Rogan making the argument that Israel killing 30,000 civilians versus 1,200 killed of their own people is at least a form of genocide.
Hughes handles that argument well enough, but it is the point that he eventually makes that I want you to hear.
In short, Hughes explains why Hamas can’t be allowed to get away with using civilians as human shields and Rogan, to his credit, concedes that Hughes is the better man on this issue.

If you watch one thing today…
A lot has been and can be said about @joerogan but I gotta hand it to him for actually listening and having some integrity.
This is an important video. pic.twitter.com/OxMqvGkolh

For those of you who don’t have time to watch it, Hughes argues that civilians are dying in Gaza because of the way Hamas fights, adding that Hamas has perfected the art of hiding behind their own people more than any others have done so in the past. And if we allow these terrorists to get away with this because there can’t be more civilian deaths, then Hamas will have created the perfect defense and Israel won’t be able to defeat them – the terrorists win.
