John James, who is running for Senate in Michigan, just released a fantastic ad against Debbie Stabenow called “Silence”.
Watch:
He tweeted the video this morning with this: “My question to Sen. @Stabenow: Why should we believe you this time?”
He also posted this related Youtube video of Stabenow making excuses..
This looks like a very effective attack on Stabenow’s record. But what really brings it home is that he was in Iraq when she voted against this funding, which gives him more credibility on the issue than others who might use it against her.
Jame’s twitter account is full of good stuff, but this tweet from last week where he was responding to a critic was especially awesome:
I'm a West Point grad & Iraq vet w/ 2 masters
My dad: Vietnam vet & entrepreneur
His dad: mason
His dad: sharecropper
His dad: slave.
Mooching? My family never asked for free stuff, just a fair shot. We can't allow the American Dream to be crushed by you, @Stabenow & Socialism https://t.co/u2vl4orM1P— John James (@JohnJamesMI) October 9, 2018
And in case you are wondering where James stands versus Stabenow in the polling, it appears he may be finally making a dent in her big lead:
The latest poll, as you can see, shows him breaking the 10 point threshold. But it’s just one poll and the next one on the list from a similar time period shows a massive lead for Stabenow. So it’s clear James has a major uphill climb to win this one.
Let’s hope he can pull of a major victory and finally send this horrible Senator home!
