John Rich from Big and Rich had just performed on the stage where the shooting occurred in Las Vegas. At the time of the shooting he had already loaded his stuff onto his bus and went to perform at a bar he owns not far from the scene.
He describes what happened when the shooting began:
I love the story about the off-duty cop. So awesome how this Minneapolis officer was willing to put his life on the line to ensure no threat came to anyone in that bar.
