WATCH: Justice Alito talks about the Hobbs leak, says it made them targets for assassination…

Justice Alito sat down with the Heritage Foundation’s Judicial Network to discuss how the unprecedented Hobbs leak changed the court.

Alito says the leak “certainly changed the atmosphere at the court for the remainder of last year” and also suggested that in the coming session everyone just wants to get back to normal.

He also talked about how the leak made the justices voting to overturn Roe v Wade targets for assassination:

“The leak made those of us who were thought to be in the majority in support of overruling Roe and Casey targets for assassination because it gave people a rationale reason to think they could prevent that from happening by killing one of us. And we know that. A man has been charged with attempting to kill Justice Kavanaugh.”

He didn’t want to say anymore about that because it’s a pending case.

He also didn’t address, at least in this clip, the investigation into the leak and how that’s going. I think that’s what most people want to know about and many of us are wondering why it’s taking so long to figure this out. The leak happened in May. Here we are in October and there’s been no disclosures about the investigation or the leaker.
