White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany held a surprise press briefing on Thursday afternoon, during which she delivered a prepared statement about the events of Wednesday, January 6th.
“I am here to deliver this message on behalf of the entire White House,” said McEnany. “Let me be clear: The violence we saw yesterday at our nation’s Capitol was appalling, reprehensible, and antithetical to the American way. We condemn it — the President and this administration — in the strongest possible terms. It is unacceptable. And those that broke the law, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
A strong, unequivocal opening that will be treated like trash by the media anyway.
That reference back to her earlier comments when BLM/Antifa rioters were burning churches in D.C. was especially good. But not in a “take THAT libs” way. No, in a “see what you have wrought? See what you have done!?” way that is EXTREMELY important right now.
No one should ease up for a single millisecond on reminding the media/democrat complex about what they did for the last year. They invited riots. Now there’s one they don’t like? Time to read the record back to them.
