Kellyanne Conway was on Fox Business this morning with Maria Bartiromo, discussing for over 11 minutes the awkwardness of her husband attacking Trump.
In the interview Kellyanne says it really is unlike her husband, who she says is a private person, to attack the president so openly. In fact she says he used to support the president, so his criticism of Trump is ‘new’ in her eyes.
She did say she’s had conversations with him about airing his grievances in private, as she was taught in her Catholic family growing up, but apparently that’s going nowhere fast.
Watch:
Kellyanne does defend her husband’s career though, calling him a brilliant litigator who has made partner at his law firm.
She doesn’t appreciate people criticizing her marriage either, especially when her husband isn’t even tweeting about that.
And she also hits back against people who are feigning concern for her children, suggesting they didn’t care about her children when they were attacking her for the past few years.
I feel bad for Kellyanne. She’s been put between her husband, who apparently enjoys playing the part of ‘Dennis the menace’, and a president who couldn’t ignore a tea pot for ‘screaming’ at him.
