Lindsey Graham was on Fox News moments ago defending Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey, explaining why there is nothing wrong with the timing of the termination.

Graham believes that the letter from the Deputy AG recommending the firing of Comey is all the reason Trump needed. The Deputy AG who had been on the job for a few weeks, as Graham pointed out, had looked at the FBI and determined that Comey had become too political to appropriately do his job and recommended that Trump replace him.
As to Schumer wanting to hold a hearing on the firing of Comey, Graham jokes that the first person he’d call as a witness would be Schumer and he’d ask him why he said Comey should be fired earlier this year. LOL!
