WATCH LIVE: SpaceX launches the mammoth Starship while Trump watches on

SpaceX will be launching their Starship megarocket into space today and President-elect Trump is there to watch it, along with Senators Ted Cruz and Bill Hagerty.

This will truly be a event like no other and it will launch around 5PM eastern:

The Starship megarocket, which consists of two fully reusable elements — a huge first stage called Super Heavy and an upper-stage spacecraft known as Starship, or simply “Ship” — will launch from the company’s Starbase facility near Boca Chica Beach in South Texas. You’ll be able to watch the launch live on Youtube channel courtesy of a SpaceX simulcast, beginning 30 minutes before liftoff.
