A massive explosion took place at a chemical plant in Rockton, Illinois as firefighters were trying to put out a blaze:
It’s a good thing none of these firefighters were attempting to put out this blaze up close. In fact, no one was reporter injured as a result of the fire or explosion.
My State Line reporters that everyone living within mile range of the chemical plant have been evacuated for their safety. They also note that the “company manufactures fluids, lubricants and grease products which are distributed worldwide.”
The cause of the fire and explosion are not yet known.
